Come and play board games with friends, family or strangers at The Black Lion and raise money for a great cause (Link to Facebook page).
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t played any games for decades or if the term ‘Euro’ for you isn’t about ‘Brexit’.
Suggested £5 donation to the NSPCC. All proceeds to charity. Venue kindly donated by Black Lion Hereford.
Many of the best board and card games aren’t available on the high street so you may not have heard of them, if you want to learn more we’ll have friendly games teachers on hand to get you started, or bring along your favorite classics and enjoy the nostalgia.
We have some great raffle prizes including 10 brand new boardgames, some pre-loved board games , some non game treats and two mystery boxes! There will be something for big kids and little kids alike!

We are upstairs in the function/skittle alley, accessed from a door in the car park.
Recommended parking: Strictly limited onsite. Nearest is Hereford Leisure Pool (cross the old bridge and the Black Lion is on your left) or Greyfrairs car park.
(first right after the underpass down Bridge Street and the Black Lion is on your right)
Times: Noon until late (1am).
Ages: Children welcome until 7pm
Costs: £5 suggested donation per person
Food and drinks: Buy from the Black Lion. Please don’t bring your own food. We are trying to arrange a group meal at approximately 6pm e.g chilli con carne and chips in addition to the standard pub menu. Tea and coffee available in the gaming area.
